A playful workshop covering Forearm stand (Pincha Mayurasana ) and Handstand ( Adho Mukha Svanasana ), Bakasana ( crow pose ) and other arm balances with variations to accommodate all levels. Learn how to practice these postures with proper alignment and build the strength needed to get comfortable upside down.
We will go through alignment, modifications, and techniques to develop proper practice of these asanas. We will make use of props, and walls to allow you to continue practicing these postures at home.
No inversion experience is necessary.

Learn basic & loving thai yoga techniques on your own or with friend of partner - this workshop you will learn how to create more space in your joints, your body and your heart. Cultivate an active practice designed to create more love, ease and a deeper connection with your inner self and your loved ones in this workshop.
Thai yoga Bodywork is a powerful , fully clothed restorative therapeutic experience. You will create techniques using your hands, feet and elbows through loving kindness touch.
You will leave with a short Thai sequence to share with family and friends.
Wear comfortable clothing to move in, please bring water bottle, a few pillows and blankets and intentions for healing.
NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN YOGA OR BODYWORK IS NEEDED: all welcome.

Join us over at Cedar Yoga Space for a heart and soul filling workshop where we will gather as a friends , offer our New Years Intentions for the upcoming 2021 year by diving in to fabrics, beads, paints and what ever else your hands guide you to use.
Supper will also be offered, Rebecca will be cooking a wonderful meal of Kitchari and tea will be served.
Each person will leave with their own set of customized prayer flags. All materials will be included, please bring something if it’s calling to you.

2 hours of candlelight restorative yoga bliss. Winter is a time of turning inward, finding comfort and self love. Rebecca would love for you to join her in this beautiful self care class. Restorative yoga is a passive yoga style, with lots of yummy props to do the work for us so we can rest, renew, boost our immune systems, enjoy the benefits of each posture for longer periods of time. Blankets, bolsters, blocks, straps, sandbags and other props to helps us rest are offered.
In the class space is limited to 10 students to ensure everyone gets the attention they need to personalize their experience, get adjustments and a little hands on bodywork when needed to help encourage deep relaxation.
