Owner, Rebecca Simms will be teaching a fun Christmas Themed Yoga class for kids on December 17th 2018 from 4-5 pm . We will be doing story time yoga to a Christmas book along with yoga poses. Fun breathing techniques to help warm us up in the winter and playing a few fun yoga games and a Christmas craft. This is open to 10 kids. Ages 3-7 only . This class is very age specific with the activities and type of class that is taught. Exchange is $12 a child
Embrace the longest night of the year and reconnect with yourself in a warm candlelit practice celebrating the winter solstice. Moving from slow, mindful vinyasa flows to quiet restorative and Yin poses and guided meditation, this practice is the perfect opportunity to slow down and find light and inspiration for the winter season and coming new year. Hot winter tea will be served along with Kitchari - a traditional Ayurveda porridge known for its balancing qualities. This event is 2 hours long and is open to everyone. Exchange : $35 a person
Join Rebecca Simms in a shoulder stand ( Salamba Sarvangasana ) and Headstand A and B ( Sirasana ) whether you are a seasoned practitioner wanting to learn more variations and deeper your current practice or a newer practitioner wanting to learn more about these inversions and find you’re own variation this workshop if for you ! Rebecca is a certified yoga for all instructor and will teach a bus stop method with modifications to find your own unique shoulderstand and headstand .
In this workshop you will learn the basic elements of inversions, including creative and fun exercises that build upper body strength and flexibility, as well as in-jury prevention for shoulders.
We will create a warming Hatha Flow practice, incorporating prep poses followed by practicing the inversions that best suit your needs.
All levels are welcome

This 4-Week Beginner Yoga Series is designed to take away the worries about your first yoga class and make your introduction to yoga an enjoyable experience.
You'll learn what yoga is, where it came from, how to start your practice and how it can impact your life.
This series is for the absolute beginner or the student somewhat new to yoga that wants a deeper introduction.
Each class is 1 hour long 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Please bring a water bottle, a yoga mat ( we have some available if you need to borrow one along with other props ) and that’s about it .

A playful workshop covering Forearm stand (Pincha Mayurasana ) and Handstand ( Adho Mukha Svanasana ) with variations to accommodate all levels. Learn how to practice these postures with proper alignment and build the strength needed to get comfortable upside down.
We will go through alignment, modifications, and techniques to develop proper practice of these asanas. We will make use of props, and walls to allow you to continue practicing these postures at home.
No inversion experience is necessary.

Come fly with Rebecca in this crow pose workshop. We will be breaking down 3 different types of crow pose from square 1. This is an all
Levels workshop and we will incorporate use of props to make these arms balances accessible to your OWN bodies knees.
We will create a warming and playful flow to warm the body up, create prep poses and stretch and strengthen our wrists, arms and shoulders then begin breaking down your own variation of these arm balances. Please come as you are , no judgments and have fun !

All levels armbalance workshop ! Come and find your strength and your poses ! Rebecca will teach an all levels Mayurasana or Peacock Pose // and Eka Pada Koundinyasna 2 or sage pose workshop.
Create and deepen your physical yoga practice as your own speed in this hands on workshop. We will use props as needed and learn how to incorporate them in these poses. Arm balances can be intimidating so let’s practice them together in a save environment and break them down just for you.
